PT Mega Petro Synergy (MPS) is looking for some candidates for supporting our team in some client's project.
The position required is:
RESERVOIR ENGINEER
Role, Responsibilities & Competencies (but not limited):
- Review consultant engineering reports to determine the reliability of engineering and economic data.
- Adjust engineering analysis and economic parameters as required.
- Identifying key credit risks (reservoir, mechanical, operational).
- Assisting with ongoing business development activities including travel.
- Preparing and delivering presentations to management.
- Post-close monitoring of operations, production and economic performance.
- Utilizing existing industry contacts/knowledge to assess new projects and find potential investment opportunities.
- The Reservoir Engineer is also responsible for identifying drilling opportunities and identifying opportunities to expand secondary operations.
- Enhancing base production through sound asset/reservoir management, development drilling, new projects, well-bore management (artificial lift, workovers, completions, etc) and technology application
- Production Operations - knowledge of artificial lift, remedial wellwork operations, well stimulation, and well completions.
- Production and/or Injection Management
- Ability to conduct well surveillance and review data / records to determine optimization opportunities.
- Communication Skills -- Ability to clearly convey concepts and project information orally, in presentations and technical reports, with all levels in the organization including engineers, earth scientists, leaders, and other key stakeholders.
- Reservoir/Asset Development - knowledge and experience in EOR (CO2 and/or waterflood), pattern balancing, WAG cycling/optimization, development drilling programs, property assessments, reserves management, etc.
- Skilled at working both with a back-to-basics approach to RE tools as well as demonstrated proficiency in building and testing subsurface scenarios with Mores.
- Experience with integrated forecasting tools (, MoReS, MBAL, HFPT and/or IPSM).
- Knowledge in reservoir optimization software such as OLGA, Drillbench, MEPO.
- Strong drive and a proactive mindset
- Have a network of staff within Reservoir Engineering community and other Disciplines who can turn to for assistance/coaching.
- Excellent communication skills
Qualifications:
- Holding Bachelor of Science or Engineering Degree or relevant Post Graduate Degree.
- Experience in reservoir engineering.
- Proficient in all areas of classical reservoir engineering including reserve and economic evaluation.
- Proficient with economic modeling software including Aries and Phd Win.
- Computer literate with a working knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong analytical skills and ability/desire to work on an integrated team.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
