[Job-Vacancy] Urgent Vacancy: Superintendent - Government Relations (Palembang based) in GMR Group

Due the development and especially acquiring coal mining (PKP2B) in Indonesia, we are now seeking outstanding talent as the following position:

 

Superintendent - Government Relations

 

Main Role

To assist the Manager - Government Relations in Palembang regencies to ensure that all formalities and legalities required by the company which are processed in South Sumatera & its regencies are obtained in timely manner and in accordance to the company business conduct and support the image of the company as a good corporate citizen.

 

Role of Accountabilities

·         Review, monitor and avoid whenever possible negative impacts of the new regulations to the company such as: RUU Minerba (Draft of Mining Law), PP PNBP (Government Regulations on Forest Dues), Judicial Review of Forestry Law: UU41/1999, and Draft of Ministry of Environment on Mine Closure.

·         Establish and maintain good relationships with the officials in Government institutions in South Sumatera area by frequent visit to the offices of the Regencies and Province, also to Dinas Pertambangan and Dinas Kehutanan officials.

·         Understand and update the standard of procedure in getting the proper permits needed by the company such as Lend- Use Permit, Location Permit, Special Port Permit and others required for mining & operations, etc and to ensure that the preparation as well as the process can be done effectively.

 

Role Cognitive

Able to exercise judgments requiring "Assertive" processing (such as require to be able to organize information and pulls it together in the form of direct action relevant to the immediate situation) for time-span of 3 months down the road.  

 

Knowledge & Skill

·         5 years++ (with a minimum of five years of relevant experience handling Government Affairs).

·         Fully understand about Mining Operation Permit, Forestry Permit, and other government regulations.

·         Able to manage tasks and prioritize time to support the company.

·         Capable to develop relationship based on professional relationship.

·         Able to work under pressure and in ambiguous conditions effectively.

Specific Required

1.        Minimum Bachelor Degree from reputable university in Engineering (Mining/ Geology), Law, or Social Sciences disciplines.

2.        Computer Literate: Microsoft Office

3.        Good Interpersonal & Communication skills.

4.       Good Project Management.

5.        Willing to be based in Palembang, South Sumatera.
