WhatsNew Asia provides a female focused ecommerce. Started in Thailand, WhatsNew Asia is building a technical team here, in Indonesia. Responsibilities
- Work closely with front end team to apply design changes to Magento sites.
- Develop new features and customizations to our Magento sites.
- Produce clean, well-documented, efficient, and standards-compliant code with an eye towards performance optimization
- Maintain a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability, and emerging technologies; keep team members informed as appropriate, with a view to incorporating these in future projects
- Expert understanding of Magento's code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy, and fallback components
- Competent knowledge of e-commerce data organization and relationships
- In-depth understanding of Object Oriented Programming
- Experience is other MVC framework is a plus (CodeIgniter, CakePHP, Symfony, Django, Ruby on Rails, etc)
- Experience with DVCS such as git or mercurial
