Our client, a multi national company, currently requires capable candidate to fill the position of:

PORT MANAGER

Qualification:
• Specialization in Asset Management experience minimum 5 years, crucially port or other similar logistics facility
• Minimum 5 years experience in senior management position in Indonesia
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English
• Demonstrated ability to build, lead, motivate and retain team of operational and support functions
• Demonstrated experience handling regulatory, corporate/register issues in Indonesia
• Good analytical skills and computer applications

Reporting Structure:
• Based in Balikpapan, Indonesia
• Reporting to the Management and Board of Directors

Job Scope:
The Port Manager will have the following responsibilities:
• Recruiting team for port operation together with partners management
• Oversight and operational management of completion of construction of port facility in Balikpapan
• Responsibility for management including origination, operations, finance/budgeting, HR, regulatory/authority relations
• Ensure top quality ships agency services is rendered to all clients (internal / external)
• Ensure KPI's through cos-effective service that takes into account safety/health/environment / efficiencies issues
• Maximize business opportunities with a commercial focus on potential new clients
• Take an active interest in group initiatives
• Able to function effectively whilst under pressure
• Provide transparency / honesty / integrity at all times
