Head of Business Unit: Marine & Supply Chain
PT. Altus Logistics Services Indonesia is a leading provider of integrated logistics services to the Energy sector in Indonesia. Our company has grown in Indonesia and Southeast Asia over the years and continues to expand worldwide to encompass over 700 employees and 35 offices in 11 countries.
We are searching for a dynamic Head of Business Unit to design and deliver our integrated sea, land & air projects and solutions. This position will be based in Jakarta, be an active member of the senior management team and report to the Director.
What will you be doing: Using your operational strengths, creative thinking, by taking a solution based approach and engaging with selected vendors and partners, you will be instrumental in leading key projects and act as the company representative to core customers. You will be proactively engaged in supporting and solving operational challenges associated with sea, land and air operations. Your sound team management experience will be an advantage in effectively and efficiently leading your team of 10 (ten) staff and a broad network of agents and suppliers across the region. With a strong focus on performance improvement you will be responsible for maintaining our high standards of operational safety and ensuring your business units internal processes and administration are running efficiently.
Your Profile and Strengths: You are broadly experienced in logistics, integrated supply chain solutions, project logistics, chartering, international operations and/or similar roles. Solid exposure to sales and marketing is an advantage. You can combine procedural & strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and have a proactive can-do attitude. You create, drive and deliver development initiatives with the ability to lead. You are a convincing communicator in both English and Bahasa Indonesian, having excellent network of relationships in the industry and with a solid service partner network and very familiar with CIQP process and shipping agency work, with at least 10 years experience across the industry sector.
