| Purpose of the Post: Working under the direct supervision of the Programme Coordinator, the Programme Officer (PO) is responsible for planning, implementation and monitoring of Muslim Aid Indonesia programmes, including proposal development. The PO is also responsible for developing and maintaining effective working relationships and liaising with external agencies, government and potential partners as required. Key Requirements: o Educated to Bachelor's degree level in English, social science, international development planning or related field or equivalent demonstrable experience. o At least 2 years of direct experience of programme administration for INGO, working with Government agencies and providing support to partners, in Indonesia and/or in the region. o Experience of Project Completion Reporting with impact assessment. o Knowledge of Economic empowerment, Livelihoods, agriculture, Water-sanitation, DRR, and child protection/sponsorship programmes. o Contemporary understanding of issues and challenges facing international development and humanitarian organisations. o Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. o Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. o IT literate with demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and SharePoint o Ability to produce results in a high pressure environment within tight deadlines and budgets o Ability to develop linkages with NGOs, Government agencies, Institutional donors and other stakeholders o Strong commitment to Muslim Aid's mission, visions, values and ethos. | |
