PT Permata Energy Resources is a coal exploration and production group based in Indonesia (Sumatra and Kalimantan). The group has grown substantially and has been the largest privately owned coal mining company in Sumatera area. Currently, we are looking for young, energetic and dynamic professional candidates to join our team as position below:

 

Geotechnical Engineer (GTE-2-M)

 (Sumatra)

 

 

Responsibilities:

·   Conduct to identify sampling methods, field operations, interpretation and correlation of seams, and reporting

·   Responsible for monitoring slope stability particulars of mines and deposits

·   Creating a geotechnical analysis and study that can be used as a basis for mine planning

·   Provide recommendations for handling the mine slope stability

·   Evaluate existing and proposed geotechnical operating conditions for surface and underground coal mines

·    Participate in the review of long range mine plans for surface and underground coal mines

·   Monitor ongoing mining and geotechnical operational performance with respect to regulatory requirements

·   Conduct field inspections of coal mines and respond to site incidents

 

 

Requirements:

·   Male, max. 35 years old

·   Bachelor degree from reputable university in Geology / Mining Engineer/ Civil

·   Minimum of 2 years working experience in the same position especially in Coal

·   Mastering Geotechnical Software

·   Have ability to analyze slope stability, mine design, back filling design, and geotechnical investigation

·   Have a certificate of POP

·   Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills, inquisitive, able to think logically, and be capable of complex analytical thinking, including spatial visualization and the ability to develop comprehensive conclusions often from sparse data. Those involved in fieldwork must have physical stamina
