Wahana Visi Indonesia is a local humanitarian organization that implements most of World Vision programs in Indonesia. World Vision is one of the world's largest international Christian humanitarian aid organizations. It has been working in Indonesia for more than 50 years and focusing on programming effort on health, education and economic development across transformational development, humanitarian emergency affairs and advocacy ministries.

Wahana Visi Indonesia is currently seeking the following position :

Natural Resource Management Officer
(Code : NMRO)

Location : Sambas

Major Roles:

Responsible to coordinate and advocate stake holders (i.e. community groups, local government and other related institutions of assisted area) in natural resource management efforts.

Qualifications:

- S1 degree in forestry, environment, development studies, agriculture or relevant field

- Min. 2 years of experience on Natural resources-forest management, environmental advocacy and community organizing

- Good knowledge and understanding of social and ecology issue in West Kalimantan.

            - Experience in community organizing, project implementation, and report writing
            - Good interpersonal and communication skills
            - Preferable to communicate in local dialect (Dayak or Sambas Malay)
            - Willing to be based at Sambas
