Relocation Consultant
OurRelocation Consultants provide relocation services to our clients and theiremployees and families by managing a smooth transition for a relocatingemployee and their family members to any new location. This Consultant will actas a single point of co-ordination to provide ongoing support during theassignment, including repatriation where appropriate.
 
Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that top notch service is adhered to in all dealings with clients and assignees and that client's satisfaction is achieved
  • Managing all activities, including those performed by third party suppliers related to the transfer process, the ongoing assignment and repatriation where appropriate.
  • Carrying out the pre assignment briefing and orientation of the relocating employee based on the client's policy, including compensation details where applicable
  • Providing continuing advice and support to both client and relocating employee, maintaining regular contact throughout the scope of the engagement
  • Ensuring pre-visit service surveys (if available) are appropriately triggered to assignee/transferees
  • Undertaking other tasks and special projects as required
  • Ensuring that files are properly maintained (electronic and hard copy files meet standard company and client requirements) which may include scanning or filing of important documentation


General requirements:

  • Has experience in relocation and/or global mobility industry or hospitality background is preferable
  • Previous experience in a fast paced, client service and/or customer service role.
  • Sensitivity to the needs of culturally diverse relocating employees and their families as well as the stress brought on by the relocation process
  • Ability to work well within a multicultural team
  • Knowledge of the home sale and home buying process
  • Excellent organization, administration and planning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize and manage multiple projects in addition to day to day activities.
  • Proficient in IT applications e.g. Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Fluency in speaking and writing English required
  • Additional language capabilities advantageous
  • Flexibility in working time and a willingness to undertake additional tasks, as required
  • Has positive attitude, outgoing, punctual and honest
  • Able to work under pressure with team and or independent
  • Last but not least, has a great smile.
