World Vision Indonesia partners with local humanitarian foundation Wahana Visi Indonesia to implement its programs in more than 40 Program Offices across 9 provinces. World Vision has been working in Indonesia for more than 50 years and focusing programming effort on health, education and economic development across transformational development, humanitarian emergency affairs and advocacy ministries. We are also part of an active NGO consortium in the areas of advocacy, child protection, health, community empowerment and disaster management.
World Vision Indonesia is currently seeking the following position:
Technical Assitance and Training Team (TATT) Team Leader
Location: North Maluku (Sofifi) , Papua (Jayapura)
Major Roles:
The Technical Assistance Training Teams (TATTs) Team Leader will serve as senior technical advisor/provincial team leader as well as a technical advisor to provincial BPBDs and other TATTs members; to provide oversight, technical guidance and implementation support for training content development and delivery by TATTs within an anticipated USAID-funded project: Improving Disaster Preparedness and Disaster Management Capacity in Indonesia (North Maluku and Papua)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Social Science, Development studies or related fields. (Master's Degree is Preferable)
- 2-3 years experience Disaster Management and Emergency Responses
- Have experience in capacity building and institutional strengthening programs
- In-depth knowlede of international humanitarian standars and principles
- Familiarity with Indonesia government structure and system (particularly those that have disaster management structures/programs) and has prior experience working with the government agencies.
- Proven skill and track records in designing and delivering training programs, particularly on topics related to disaster management.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
