We have an opening for the following role in our group.
Procurement Manager, job location Myanmar
Job description:
· Lead the purchasing activities in the region and ensure effective performance of operational and tactical purchasing activities and ensure compliance.
· Work with related head of division on procurement initiatives and requirements: specifications, budget and cost, delivery and quality.
· Set up strategy, plan, implement and monitor region-wide sourcing and purchasing initiatives.
· Provide best practice of vendor selection, processes and agreements: evaluate, negotiate and manage supplier contracts and service level agreements.
· Identify opportunities of cost savings and plan the sourcing strategy.
· Resolve regional and local supply and supplier related issues.
· Develop and implement internal guidelines and processes of procurement departments.
Qualification:
· Bachelor of Animal Husbandry/Nutrition, Veterinary or Accounting from reputable university.
· At least 3 years relevant managerial experience and preferably from feedmill, trading or manufacturing industry.
· Excellent skills in strategic sourcing, negotiation, vendor selection & management, industry analysis, risk - cost analysis, planning - order, time management and contract management.
· Attentive to details and excellent analitical thinking.
· Strong organizational skills required. Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet competing deadlines with available resources
· Proven leadership through influence and collaboration
· Strong communications and interpersonal skills across cultural boundaries
· Unquestioned integrity and ethics and professional attitude.
· Well converse in English, written and verbal.
· Strong Ms Office skills.
· Global experience is a plus.
· Maximum 45 years old
· Job location Myanmar and willing to travel extensively within the country.
