Project Support and Administrative Staff for the Anticipated
ASEAN-U.S. Partnership for Good Governance, Equitable and Sustainable Development and Security (ASEAN-U.S. PROGRESS)
and ASEAN Connectivity through Trade and Investment(ASEAN ACTI) Project
Chemonics International Inc., a leading international development consulting firm, seeks multiple support and administrative candidates for two anticipated USAID-funded projects, ASEAN-U.S. PROGRESS and ASEAN ACTI, based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The anticipated PROGRESS program seeks to support and enhance ASEAN's capacity to advance good governance and regional security, and to promote equitable and sustainable human development in Southeast Asia in line with ASEAN Political-Security and Socio-Cultural Blueprints, as well as the ASEAN-U.S. Enhanced Partnership Plan of Action.
The anticipated ASEAN ACTI project will provide technical assistance to strengthen ASEAN integration by expanding capacity in trade, investment, and human capital. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
All positions have the following minimum requirements:
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in the related professional field.
· Written and verbal fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Operations and Finance Manager
· Extensive familiarity with USG generally accepted accounting procedures.
· Proven experience working with USAID or other donor-funded projects.
· University degree in Business Administration, Accounting or relevant field; Master's preferred.
· Demonstrated experience managing a team in a diverse, face-paced environment.
· Excellent computer and typing skills including work with software programs such as Word, Adobe, Excel, and etc.
· Versed in office administration duties including faxing, photocopying, answering phones, arranging meetings. Strong inter-personal and communication skills required.
· Experience in design and layout of reports and communications products highly preferred.
Communications Manager
· University degree in journalism, English, public relations, or comparable education or experience preferred. Prior experience working with technical assistance projects and/or donor-funded projects preferred.
· Demonstrated skills with communications software, web management tools, media-editing software, and social networking basics required.
· Strong inter-personal and communication skills.
· Experience with digital media.
Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist
· Master's degree in any field of Social Science, Economics, Statistics, or other relevant field preferred.
· Demonstrated ability to write technical reports in a timely manner.
· Strong inter-personal and communication skills required.
Training Manager
· Prior experience working on technical assistance projects and/or USAID or donor-funded projects preferred.
· Strong inter-personal and communication skills required.
